Lauren grew up in New England, and received her BFA in Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Upon graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, where she had the privilege to work at many major animation studios and on notable projects such as Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears and Netflix’s The Cuphead Show.
Lauren moved to Maine in 2020 to be closer to nature and family. After burning out with big corporate jobs, she pivoted to apply her design skills to tattooing– a much more personal and creative practice. Lauren completed her apprenticeship at Fortune Teller in fall of 2024, and has loved the challenges and rewards that come with such a unique artform. She loves tattooing bold work with spot blacks, pulling from her background in cartoons to create weird, cute, and whimsical pieces.
When she’s not tattooing, Lauren can be found painting, hiking with her dog, and playing banjo in a weekly folk music jam.
